1.When refunds are issued
| Situation | Refund |
|---|---|
| You cancel 24 hours or more before the start | Full refund |
| You cancel less than 24 hours before the start | 50% refund |
| You cancel after the start, or don’t show up | No refund |
| Your coach or TNA Play cancels | Full refund |
| The venue closes your court | Full refund |
| Your coach doesn’t turn up (confirmed by us) | Full refund |
| You were charged twice or by mistake | The incorrect amount, in full |
| A booking request is declined or expires | Nothing to refund — never charged |
Percentages apply to the booking total you paid — coach price, court price and any service fee, after any discount. Completed sessions aren’t refundable. The full cancellation rules are in our Cancellation Policy.
2.Examples
- Cancel 30 hours before the start → full refund
- Cancel 5 hours before the start → 50% refund
- Cancel after the session has started, or don’t show up → no refund
- Your coach or TNA Play cancels → full refund
- Your request isn’t accepted within 24 hours, or is declined → you’re never charged, so there’s nothing to refund
3.Booking requests and card holds
When you request a coach who doesn’t use instant booking, your card is only authorised (held), not charged. If the coach declines, or doesn’t accept within 24 hours, the hold is released and you’re never charged — so no refund is needed.
Your bank may show the hold as a pending transaction for a few days before it disappears.
4.How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe — the same card or wallet you paid with. We can’t refund to a different card, a bank account or in cash.
Refunds are made in AED. If your card is in another currency, the amount on your statement may differ slightly because of exchange rates and your bank’s fees.
5.How long refunds take
Refunds from online cancellations are sent to Stripe as soon as the cancellation is confirmed. They typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank. If a refund hasn’t appeared after 10 business days, email us with your booking reference and we’ll look into it.
6.If something went wrong
If a session wasn’t delivered as booked, or you think you were charged incorrectly, email hello@tnaplay.com or use our contact form with your booking reference and what happened. We review it with the coach or venue and let you know the outcome. If a refund is due, we issue it to your original payment method.
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — it’s usually faster.
7.Coach and venue payouts
When a booking is refunded, the coach’s and venue’s payout for it is adjusted to match: nothing is paid out for a fully refunded booking, and after a partial refund they’re paid their share of the amount that wasn’t refunded.
