The local game

Where tennis is played in Dubai.

Tennis in Dubai is played mostly on private and residential courts: villa courts in Jumeirah, the Palm and Emirates Hills, podium and rooftop courts in the Marina, Downtown and Business Bay towers, and shared community courts in Dubai Hills, Arabian Ranches and The Springs. Public courts are few, so most players either invite a coach to the court they already have or book a court by the hour. Air-conditioned indoor tennis is rare, which is why early mornings and evenings rule the summer.

  • Coaches list the areas they travel to — with "I have a court" you pay the coach fee only.
  • Partner tennis courts currently from AED 150 per hour — coach and court in one total.
  • Early mornings and floodlit evenings for the summer months.

Questions

Tennis in Dubai, answered.

Where can I play tennis in Dubai without a club membership?

Most sessions happen on residential courts — tower podiums, villa courts and community courts in places like Dubai Hills, Arabian Ranches and JLT — or at venues you book by the hour. Neither needs a membership.

How much does a tennis coach cost in Dubai?

Starting prices for tennis coaches in Dubai on TNA Play currently run from AED 150–1,100, depending on the coach and the session. Each coach sets their own price, shown on their profile before you book. If you add a partner tennis court, prices currently start at AED 150 per hour, and coach plus court is one total.

Do I need my own court?

Choose how you play when you book. "I have a court": your building, villa or community court — you pay the coach fee only, and your address is shared with the coach after booking. "Find me a court": TNA Play matches an available partner court nearby. "Train at the coach's venue": the club where the coach teaches. With a court, coach and court are shown as one total before you pay.

Is there indoor tennis for the summer?

Indoor tennis is scarce. Filter courts by Indoor to see air-conditioned partner venues as they join; otherwise, early mornings and floodlit evenings are how most players get through July and August.

Can I book a tennis coach for my child?

Yes. Filter coaches by Kids to see who lists junior coaching. Each coach lists session lengths on their profile, and any certifications they list are on their profile — ask about safeguarding training before you book.
